DC Food Project is proud to partner with schools around Washington, D.C. and beyond to implement our various programs. These partnerships allow our team to:
Understand the school community and its specific needs
Make informed decisions around what program(s) will most benefit each school
Measure each program our team implements, its impact and benefits
With the steadfast support of school staff and administrators, we are able to identify families at high-risk and provide relief through what we know how to do -- food. But what we have also seen is the deep care for which the various principals, social service teams, teachers, janitors, cafeteria staff and other school administrators have for their school community -- and through these programs, we are able to reach out, check-in, say hello, let them know that together we can help.
